Functional Nutrition Practitioner

Fertility by Sara Alcalá is excited to welcome a new Functional Practitioner to our growing team. If you're passionate about women's health, skilled in root-cause healing, and ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women navigating fertility challenges, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you'll work closely with clients using a functional, whole-body approach—combining personalized nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and functional lab insights to support optimal fertility, hormone balance, and long-term vitality.

Position:

Functional Nutritionist / Registered Dietitian / Licensed Clinical Nutritionist / Certified Nutrition Specialist

• Location: Fully remote
• Schedule: 10–25 hours per week (flexible; potential to grow)
• Compensation: Commission-based, with room to expand to full-time based on results
• Start Date: ASAP
• Language Requirement: Proficiency in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret functional labs (e.g., DUTCH, HTMA, GI-MAP, thyroid panels)
• Create targeted, strategic nutrition and lifestyle protocols
• Deliver client care rooted in functional, whole-body healing—not just symptom management
• Offer deep listening and compassionate support to guide each client through their healing journey
• Educate, empower, and encourage clients to understand their body and fertility
• Communicate clearly and consistently through secure messaging platforms
• Join monthly case reviews and clinical meetings
• Celebrate client wins weekly via Slack
• Encourage clients to share testimonials (written, video, or podcast)

What We're Looking For

• Solid foundation in functional medicine and/or clinical nutrition
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Active licensure or relevant certification
• 2+ years of experience in 1:1 client care (preferably in fertility, hormone health, or functional medicine)
• Confident interpreting complex labs and tailoring protocols to individual biochemistry
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (EHRs, messaging platforms)
• Strong communicator—both written and verbal
• Self-starter with strong time management and follow-through
• Committed to professional growth and continuous learning
