We are actively sourcing for our client that is adding a key leadership role to their Houston team. Specifically, they are seeking a
Consolidation Manager
to lead and oversee the global consolidation and reporting function for this multinational organization. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant consolidation of financial results across all regions and entities, while delivering high-quality reporting for executive leadership and external stakeholders.

This position requires a dynamic accounting/finance leader with deep expertise in consolidation, intercompany processes, fixed assets, and financial systems, and the ability to partner with global and regional finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards and IFRS compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep foundation in Public Accounting coming out of a Global Accounting firm with a strong technical mindset and teaching mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with regional controllers, treasury, tax, and FP&A teams for alignment and accuracy.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and standardization in reporting processes.
  • Act as finance lead for systems projects (ERP migrations, Oracle/SAP integrations).
  • Support CFO and executive team with ad hoc analysis and presentations.

Global Consolidation & Reporting

  • Lead global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end consolidation processes in accordance with IFRS.
  • Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and disclosures.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of global consolidation results using FCCS and related reporting tools.
  • Manage reporting for forecasts and plans.
  • Prepare monthly executive reporting packages with analysis of trends, variances, and risks.

Team Leadership & Oversight

  • Directly manage global leads for Finance Systems, Fixed Assets, Intercompany/Eliminations, and Reporting.
  • Drive team performance and ensure strong governance across global finance operations.

Governance & Controls

  • Maintain robust internal controls for consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and audit requirements.
  • Partner with external auditors on quarterly and annual deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (
    CPA/CMA/Chartered Accountant required
    ).
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally someone with 5+ years in Big 4/Regional Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and global consolidation processes.
  • Experience with consolidation tools.
  • Proven leadership managing global teams across multiple geographies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
