Pay:

Pay is based on experience in this field. Starting at $1000

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes & tire services to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace critical parts like powertrain components and auto body elements to restore vehicles to factory standards.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle systems while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types; dealership experience is highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive maintenance tools.
  • Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, suspension work, brake repair, and shocks & struts replacement.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
  • Valid certifications related to automotive electrical systems or air brake systems are advantageous; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.
