Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues, including electrical systems, powertrains, and alignment. Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in troubleshooting complex problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about vehicle needs and repair options.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in training junior technicians as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
- Dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics is essential.
- Experience with hybrid vehicles is a plus.
- Welding skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform auto estimating for repairs accurately.
