Job Description

Xpedient is a full-service 3rd party logistics provider. We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs.

Second Shift

Summary

The Quality Control (QC) Team Member is responsible for verifying all outbound orders and inbound shipments by SKU, description and quantity. This role is critical to ensuring customers get Xactly what they Xpect. Must be able to check multiple orders at the same time, possess warehouse inventory acumen such as cycle counts, root cause analysis, inventory consolidation and physical inventories. Must know how to operate a forklift to assist with put away and rack management, while maintaining a clean work area.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety
  • Stand-up or sit-down lift experience a must
  • assist in the unloading, loading, picking and put away when required,
  • Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience
  • Must be super efficient in all tasks required
  • Physical verification of orders and loads against customer paperwork
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
  • Report quality variances
  • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Assist in any required physical inventories
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Ensure proper stock rotation
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents
  • Must be able to lift 35-75 lbs.

Experience

  • Quality Control: 1 year (Preferred)

License

  • Forklift Certified (Preferred)
