Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Roofing Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers comprehensive training and the opportunity to develop a successful career in outside sales, focusing on business development and customer relationship management within the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and an eagerness to grow in a fast-paced sales environment. Experience in sales, and roofing industry is a plus, but training will be provided.

Duties

  • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing strategies to expand territory sales.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing roofing solutions and services.
  • Manage existing accounts by providing excellent customer service, upselling additional services, and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize market penetration.
  • Utilize CRM software such as JobNimbus to track leads, manage customer information, and analyze sales data.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and lead generation activities to increase brand awareness.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge during client interactions to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience or interest in outside sales, B2B sales, or retail sales preferred; strong management or business development background is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as JobNimbus or similar platforms; ability to leverage technology for lead generation and account management.
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret market data and identify new opportunities.
  • Ability to conduct effective product demos and upsell additional services confidently.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward territory management and direct sales efforts.
  • Experience in marketing, technical sales, or territory management will be advantageous but is not required; training will be provided for all qualified candidates.
