Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Dance Instructor to support our dance program. This role involves assisting lead instructors in delivering engaging dance classes, developing curriculum, and fostering a positive learning environment for students of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance, classroom management, and experience working with children or adults in educational settings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to students' artistic growth while gaining valuable teaching experience in a dynamic and creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including Bollywood, hip hop, ballet, Jazz
• Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Contribute to lesson planning by incorporating elements of childhood development, behavior management, and educational best practices.

• Qualifications
• Experience with teaching dance or performing arts; background in ballet preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Prior experience working with children or adults in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education is a plus.
• Skills in classroom experience management, behavior management strategies, and childhood development principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
