I am looking for a special person to join my close-knit team at Daisy Lane Veterinary Clinic. As a single DVM practice, the staff and I work closely together and have created a culture of positivity, respect, kindness and compassion – for our patients, our clients and each other. We sincerely enjoy our work and make our time here as enjoyable as possible. I appreciate the necessity of work-life balance and our schedule reflects this.

Closed Wednesdays and Sundays

Closed Saturdays except last Saturday of each month (open 9-noon)

For full-time employees:

-- 8 to 10 paid holidays

-- 40 hours PTO (years 1-4)

I expect my staff members to stay busy and seek out ways to help other team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task. Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Honesty, consistency and reliability are required in order to serve our clients needs and everyone needs to do their fair share as part of the team. All staff members are responsible for answering the phone, and cleaning is everyone's responsibility.

At least 2 years of veterinary experience is required, ideally as a veterinary assistant or technician. This position requires a willingness to learn and listen to others. In your communication with team members and clients, clarity and compassion will be essential as well as maintaining a calm and comforting tone. Other essential attributes include:
