This position requires the incumbent to exercise analysis and independent judgment in working with campus partners to ensure that data methods are consistent with federal, State, and university regulations. Documentation and training materials must be delivered in a way that they will be clearly understood and interpreted by end users, even by those who might not be familiar with student information and data environments. The incumbent must be able to ask clarifying questions to determine the specifics of what is being asked and seek consultation when unique issues are presented; and must be able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders who rely on data analyses for decision support.
This position produces routine and ad hoc internal and external reports (including dashboards, benchmarks, and comparisons related to quality and efficacy of the institution), and abides by strict adherence to compliance and the highest ethical standards in ensuring that the data is presented with integrity. The position requires the incumbent to be analytical and trustworthy with the data.
