In this key role, you will oversee the administration, communication, and education of all employee benefit programs while serving as a trusted resource for our staff. You will engage with employees at every level, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and are supported throughout their journey, from onboarding to navigating complex processes like Family Medical Leave (FML) and Workers' Compensation.

General Description of Duties: As a Benefits and HR Generalist, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely enrollment of benefits, collaborating closely with payroll to ensure seamless processing. You will also play a critical role in ensuring compliance with benefit-related laws, such as COBRA, FMLA, and HIPAA, while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care. In addition to benefits management, you will have the opportunity to support other HR functions, including recruitment and safety initiatives, making this a dynamic and rewarding position where you can grow your HR expertise and make a positive impact on our employees' experience. Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years of Benefit Administration and/or HR related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of all Federal and State regulations that relate to employment law and workers' compensation preferred.
  • Extensive customer service experience required.
  • Course work in HR areas preferred.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

Other Requirements: Must pass pre-employment drug and TB screening, Federal and/or State Department of Health background investigations. Additional background investigations may be required depending on the job assignment, or job transfer.

Job Type: Full-Time Monday thru Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm)

Pay range: $ $21.00 per hour DOE.
