Machine Operators

The Royal Group (TRG) currently has a position open for Machine Operators in Marion, Ohio. Machine Operator is responsible for all activities associated with running the machine including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommendation of improvements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requiredThe Royal Group's mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:Setup machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.Monitor quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print.Cross train on other machines and switch duties as needed.Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs, be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.Operate the machine at expectation levels for quality and production.Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.Practice safe work habits always.Make recommendations for optimizing the production schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals.Train and assist Help/Assistant with job duties at the machine.Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Ability to work overtime as the business requires.Ability to trouble shoot issues on machine to minimize downtime and material waste.Additional duties as assigned.Regular and predictable attendance.OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:Flexibility to work on different machines and different crews.Adaptable- working with new technology and learning.Punctuality-be on time every scheduled workday.Strong willingness to grow and personal development. REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or GED Manufacturing Trade certification is a plus, but it not requiredpREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
