Responsibilities
- Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based, and other applications (such as operating systems) and technologies with a focus on generating new visual language, describe complex and user-friendly functionality and produce architectural flows for platform level features.
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms, and in some cases describe platform capabilities.
- Drive partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to oversee user experience of multiple products from conception to launch.
- Domestic and International Travel Required 30%.
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
- Experience must include 5 years in the following:
- Building and shipping applications or software at company-level scale
- Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
- Prototyping
- Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
- Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
- Defining product specifications and user experiences
- Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
- Leading end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Developing product goals, identifying opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company
- 3D software design, 3D engines, and spatial computing and
- Working on large platforms and Operating Systems design
