Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic. Join our team, we are a friendly fun-loving clinic and cater to our patients. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and post surgical conditions. This role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life for diverse patient populations. We treat MVA patients, workers compensation, sport injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including anatomy and physiology knowledge.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs across orthopedics and other specialties.
  • Administer various therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise programs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and home care routines to promote independence.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning for outpatient settings.
  • Document patient interactions accurately using EMR systems while adhering to healthcare regulations. Our clinic uses WebPT.
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy, medical terminology, and treatment modalities relevant to outpatient care.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist with relevant state certifications.
  • Proven experience in hospital, clinic, or outpatient settings preferred; experience in orthopedics is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and treatment planning.
  • Experience with discharge planning, developing comprehensive treatment strategies for diverse patient populations.
  • Familiarity with various therapy techniques including cupping, manual therapy, and trigger point therapy.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients requiring complex care such as those in sport injuries or with chronic conditions.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
