We are currently hiring a Service Technician to work out of our Ogden office. Our Service Technicians assist with outside plant facilities by performing maintenance, repair and installation. This position starts from home and goes to the Ogden office as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair broadband, television, and telephone service equipment located outside the customer premise
  • Install temporary and permanent residential and business drops
  • Troubleshoot and repair copper and fiber mainline and drops
  • Restore services due to unpredictable events
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Locate underground facilities
  • Provide backup to install new services purchased by customer and ensure they are fully functioning

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two-three years telecommunications/electronics/RF coaxial systems experience, preferred
  • Associate degree in electronics or network management, preferred
  • Previous experience troubleshooting
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record

THIS IS A TUESDAY-SATURDAY 8:00AM- 5:00PM SHIFT.
