Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Educate families on behavioral strategies and techniques to support their child's development at home.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for tracking client progress.
- Familiarity with special education processes and working with people with disabilities.
- Excellent patient care skills, including patient assessment abilities.
- Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and intake processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
