SALES CONSULTANT:

We are seeking an energetic Retail Sales Consultant to provide fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service by actively seeking out customers in-store to assess their needs and provide assistance. Sales associates have an emphasis on department and product knowledge, providing information on product features, and knowing related items to sell an entire project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Engage customers and understand their product needs; become knowledgeable about product categories, product quality, and product attributes

-Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure that it is clean, shoppable, and safe-Work in cooperation with their Department Managers and other associates in their department as well as other sales departments, the Inventory Management Associates, and the Front-end Associates to ensure customers' needs are met

-Ensure customer satisfaction, drive sales, build your own sales skills and product knowledge

-Report on sales trends, track customer requests, and assess inventory needs

-Promote Home Center Outlet's core values through your interactions with customers and colleagues: Professionalism; Teamwork; Integrity; Respect; and Excellence.

-Meet and exceed all daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must have dependable transportation

-Must be able to lift 25lb-50lb

-Provide a minimum of (1) professional references

-Must be able to work weekends

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Customer Service experience

-1-3 years of Retail, Specialty Retail, Outside Sales, or Trade experience

-Demonstrated sales experience with one or more core product categories: 1) doors, 2) Vanity Cabinets, 3) plumbing,5) Bath
