  • Assists in managing recruitment activities and tasks and performs administrative duties related to clinician recruiting.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • The Clinician Recruiting team at Samaritan Health Services is responsible for recruiting and hiring qualified clinicians at Samaritan Health Services hospitals and clinics. This process includes sourcing, recruiting, screening, scheduling, interviewing, pre-boarding and onboarding activities.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required. Experience in marketing or a healthcare related role preferred.
  • Experience or training in the following required:

  • Computer applications, including Microsoft Office and design programs.

  • Creating and developing business correspondence.

Experience initiating and managing multiple projects required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Time management: Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
  • Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of marketing strategy and sales techniques to show, promote, and sell products or services. Ability to understand the needs of clients and translate those needs into profitable objectives.
  • Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss quality issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
  • Customer service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
