About The Role
We're looking for a full-time Marketing Specialist to support our digital marketing, paid media, SEO, and content efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative work and data-driven decision making, and who thrives in a small, collaborative, fast-moving environment.
You'll manage and optimize campaigns across multiple channels, support our website and social platforms, analyze performance, and create content that reflects the GNB brand. You should be comfortable working independently, proactive about problem-solving, and excited to contribute to a company that's reshaping how people experience remodeling.
This position works closely with our Marketing Manager and requires in-office presence at least part of the week.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other platforms), including budgets, targeting, creative, testing, and reporting.
- Oversee SEO strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, conversion improvements, and content recommendations to support organic growth.
- Update and maintain our WordPress website, including new pages, content edits, campaign integrations, and user experience improvements.
- Create, test, and refine ad creative and marketing content across digital platforms to drive engagement and ROI.
- Design and produce graphics and marketing materials for digital campaigns, social media, events, and award submissions (using Canva or similar tools).
- Analyze performance across all channels, track CPL and ROAS, and translate data into clear recommendations.
- Build, launch, and monitor paid search, display, and social campaigns with a focus on lead generation.
- Brainstorm content concepts, complete occasional site visits, write captions, and publish posts across organic social media channels.
- Monitor engagement and identify opportunities for improved content and community interaction.
- Meet weekly with the Marketing Manager to review progress, set goals, and adjust strategies.
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience in a marketing specialist or similar role.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads, including budgeting, reporting, and optimization.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and conversion optimization.
- WordPress experience (building pages, updating content, supporting campaigns).
- Graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools for digital and print.
- Experience managing organic social media: content creation, photography, captions, and engagement tracking.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and adapt to evolving workflows.
- High attention to detail, strong prioritization, and ability to work independently.
- Genuine interest in Great Northern Builders' brand, values, and mission.
- Enthusiasm for working in a small, collaborative, high-energy environment.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position (hours finalized based on candidate availability).
- $22-35/hour
- Primarily in-office at our South Berwick, ME location.
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
