The Azure Cloud and Network Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the organization's network infrastructure (Cisco Meraki), managing end-user devices (Microsoft Intune), and critical cloud infrastructure, with a key focus on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) implementation and Azure Windows Administration. This role is crucial for maintaining a reliable, secure, and high-performance hybrid IT environment.

Cloud Infrastructure and VDI (Azure, AVD, Windows Admin)

  • Design, implement, configure, and manage AVD environments, including host pools, application groups, workspace configuration, and image management (golden image creation and maintenance).
  • Monitor and optimize AVD and other Azure resource performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage, deploy, and maintain Windows Server virtual machines and support infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
  • Administer Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), including users, groups, conditional access, and synchronization with on-premises directories.
  • Implement and manage Azure storage solutions, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based resources.

Network Infrastructure (Cisco Meraki)

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain the organization's network devices (routers, switches, security appliances, access points) using the Cisco Meraki platform.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, implement and enforce network security policies (firewall rules, VPN), and document configurations.
  • Plan and execute network expansions and upgrades to support organizational growth and new office/center network implementations.

Device and Endpoint Management (Microsoft Intune)

  • Manage the full lifecycle of endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) using Microsoft Intune (part of Microsoft Endpoint Manager).
  • Create, deploy, and enforce security, compliance, and configuration policies across managed devices.
  • Deploy, update, and manage company applications and ensure all endpoints are compliant with the latest security patches.

General Administration and Support

  • Provide technical expertise and support for all managed systems.
  • Participate in IT projects, collaborating with other teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all systems and procedures.

Compliance with Centria's Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws.

Responsibility to report violations of Company policies or the Code of Conduct.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT administration with a focus on cloud and network technologies.
  • Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to use computers and computer/software programs
  • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or other VDI solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon).
  • Proven hands-on experience managing Windows Server and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid administrative experience with Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies).
  • Proven hands-on experience implementing and managing networks with Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPN) and Azure networking (VNets, NSGs).
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Relevant certifications preferred, such as:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
    • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
    • Cisco Meraki Network Operator (CMNO) or similar Meraki certifications, preferred.
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI), preferred.
  • Experience in a hybrid or multi-site network environment, preferred.

Pay:

$80,000-$85,000 plus bonus

Working Conditions:

  • Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • Additional time or occasional shift in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
