Division: New Millennium Overview:

Responsible for receiving, analyzing, entering & storing data for purchase orders. Works closely with all departments, sales, production and engineering. Work close with the purchasing team with NMBS.

Responsibilities:

  • Includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • Work with Excel, Word, PowerPoint & NMBS OIS & JEDI systems
  • Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on monthly numbers.
  • Tracking inventory & conducting accurate reports. As well as, filing and keeping purchase orders/records organized.
  • Compare product deliveries with issued purchase order and contact supplier/vendor when there are any discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors in order to ensure NMBS always has a source for necessary products.
  • Preparing purchase orders in a timely manner when material is needed.
  • Helping file and organize records for the Safety Coordinator.

Required

  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills – both written & verbal
  • Strong math skills
  • Working accurately & efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated & results driven
