SPECIFIC ROLE DETAILS: Warehouse Associate

We are looking for an experienced candidate that can work with our warehouse team to pick and pack outbound orders, receive inbound orders, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and operate various computer tasks including UPS shipping, and order editing and processing.

*Warehouse hours are approximately 8:30am-6:30pm, though there is some flexibility day-to-day. Warehouse shifts are Mon-Thurs.

and (if possible) Backup Driver

Additionally, if possible, we are looking for a candidate that has some experience with driving and deliveries and can cover driving shifts when our regular drivers request off or call out.

*Driving shifts (if possible) would be for covering shifts only, and will generally be only for a few shifts a quarter. Driving shift hours start in the early morning, approx 5am-3pm, but vary depending on the shift. Usually, we will have advance notice, though occasionally we will ask the driver to cover a shift on short notice if a driver calls out.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse team member will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as shipping, receiving, and overall product flow in the Foundation warehouse. The goal is to increase efficiency, organization, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated individual who is looking to join a growing and enthusiastic team.

This candidate will develop relationships with our other warehouse, driver, and office team members to effectively work together in completing the day-to-day tasks of product distribution. The candidate must be comfortable reporting any discrepancies to their team. The position will include a variety of physical tasks in the warehouse and on the road, as well as several computer-oriented tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Warehouse, shipping, and some driving experience required.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be reliable and committed to being here for every shift; our customers rely on timely delivery.
  • Capable of meeting the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to standing, bending, squatting, reaching, repetitive motion and lifting pounds, operating pallet jacks and hand trucks, climbing warehouse stairs, etc.
