A fast-growing beauty and lifestyle retailer is seeking an experienced and dynamic
Retail Store Assistant Manager
to support the daily operations of its flagship
K-Beauty
store. With a strong reputation for curating the best in
K-Beauty
and global skincare innovations, the company prides itself on delivering an exceptional in-store experience that blends style, service, and authenticity.

The
Retail Store Assistant Manager
will play a key role in ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional customer engagement, and consistent brand excellence. This role requires strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for the beauty industry. Working alongside the Store Manager and a dynamic team, the Assistant Manager will help drive sales, enhance the in-store experience, and uphold the brand's reputation for quality and authenticity.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, visual merchandising, and daily workflow.
  • Manage employee schedules, daily assignments, and performance feedback to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist with inventory management — including stock replenishment, product ordering, and loss prevention.
  • Monitor store KPIs and assist in preparing sales and operational reports for headquarters.
  • Support Customer Engagement, train store staff, and manage attendance.
  • Lead by example in delivering an exceptional, service-oriented customer experience that reflects brand values.

What You Need

  • 3+ years of experience in retail, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or luxury sectors.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with a people-first mindset.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean is a plus.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and able to foster a positive and energetic team culture.
  • Preferably experienced with major beauty retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, or Glossier, or with K-Beauty brands.
  • Passion for K-Beauty and global skincare trends is a strong plus.
  • Authorized to work in the US.

Salary & Benefits

  • Location: On-site in Soho, New York.
  • Salary: $58,000 - $80,000 / Year
  • This is a full-time, long-term position.
