Expert Automotive Technician

We are looking for an Expert Automotive Technician with a strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles to OEM standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on automotive experience and hold current ASE certifications. Responsibilities include assembling, disassembling, and repairing damaged vehicle components with precision and care. Candidates should possess advanced industry credentials such as ICAR, PDR, DuPont or Lexus Refinishing certifications, or an associate degree from a recognized vocational institution. A commitment to excellence, safety, and quality workmanship is essential.
 

Responsibilities: 

• Repair and maintain company, fleet, and warranty vehicles 

• Repair and maintain other various small engines as well as hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. 

• Troubleshoot and repair all automotive systems: electrical, mechanical, A/C, etc 

• Maintain warranty and repair records as well as order parts and supplies as required. 

• Complete preventive maintenance work as well as other tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Expert level ASE certified technician 

• Minimum of 2-years automotive experience - Toyota or Lexus dealer experience strongly preferred. 

• Required to maintain expert level certifications and ability to take required training, tests, online training modules & additional ASE certifications to grow knowledge. 

• Experience and ability to use automotive diagnostic instruments, applicable repair manuals & diagrams. 

• Capable of maintaining clean and safe work environment including using all safety equipment and following all safety procedures. 

• Strong understanding and ability to perform diagnosis/repair of technical operating systems of an automobile. 

• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to use email, and other electronic communication or research resources.  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work professionally & effectively in a team environment. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of associates, customers and vendors required. 

• Able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand/walk several hours per day and have full range of motion. 

• Must provide and maintain own tools. 

• Valid driver's license with ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; clean MVR required.
