Duties

  • Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including box trucks, shuttle vans, or other designated fleet vehicles to deliver fresh coffee and related products.
  • Load and unload supplies efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, ensuring product integrity during transit.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation; communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, checking mechanical systems, fluid levels, tires, and safety features to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Navigate urban and suburban routes confidently using GPS and route planning tools; adapt to traffic conditions to meet delivery schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions about products, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
  • Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to promote a secure working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, or delivery roles with a strong focus on route driving and load & unload procedures.
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL or standard license), with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance; ability to perform routine inspections and minor repairs.
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles or heavy equipment operation is a plus; experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with customers.
  • Ability to move quickly between locations while maintaining safety standards; physically capable of lifting moderate loads as needed.
  • Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with freight handling enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
