Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our food service operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized while assisting with food preparation tasks. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure a clean kitchen environment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the culinary team.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Support the cooking staff by providing timely assistance during meal service and catering events.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a pleasant experience for guests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Participate in setting up for banquets or catering events as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or catering is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $15.00 per hour
