As a Security Professional Front Desk Access in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities include managing access control, assisting with badge procedures, monitoring alarm panels, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and care. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the building, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with property management, building staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with building evacuations and/or shelter-in-place procedures when appropriate.
• Provide information and assistance to tenants and visitors, addressing questions and concerns while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
