The Role: As a Licensed Clinician at Chandler Behavioral Health, you will be an integral part of a team delivering comprehensive services to adults facing mental health challenges. You will assist in overseeing care for individuals impacted by serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders, many of whom are at risk of out-of-home placement. In addition to providing direct care, you will collaborate with Mobile Crisis Responders to conduct assessments, and you will be responsible for managing and completing the program's clinical documentation in accordance with Medicaid and licensure regulations. Need to be able to work evening, overnight shifts. Must be able to work weekdays or weekends. Must possess the mobile crisis training certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  • Conduct assessments and collaborate with Mobile Crisis Responders to determine the needs of individuals in crisis.
  • Develop and implement individual service plans, ensuring clients receive the appropriate care and support.
  • Manage and complete clinical documentation, including:
  • Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
  • Monthly reports
  • Service extensions
  • Functional assessments
  • Psychological/psychiatric evaluations
  • Discharge reports
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid and licensure regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating with other service providers and community resources to meet the needs of clients.
  • Maintain a strong focus on client-centered care while ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all required documentation.
  • Need to be available to be on a team during assigned shifts.

Who You Are: We are seeking dedicated, compassionate Licensed Clinicians with the following qualifications:

  • A current LCSW or LPC license with the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors,
  • Experience working with adults impacted by mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  • Familiarity with mobile crisis response and the ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation in accordance with Medicaid and licensure regulations.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to providing empathetic, high-quality care to individuals and families.
