Business System Analyst IT

Position Purpose: Under general supervision, the Business Systems Analyst - IT reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Consults with clients and system users to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
• Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
• Analyzes business processes and user requirements to document project scope.
• Creates and maintains moderately complex report, batch, interactive, and subfile programs.
• Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified business systems.
• Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
• Identifies program, application, and system problems and resolutions.
• Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications.
• Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
• Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests
• Complete all required training applicable to this position
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position
• Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or business administration.
• 5 years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Visio and Oracle
• Data analysis and Project Management skills

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation is $65,536.74-$81,881.68/year
