Intake Specialist

Job Summary:

Apollo Labs is seeking a full-time Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is essential to the intake, processing, and accurate record-keeping of all cannabis samples in compliance with AZDHS guidelines. This position is client facing through phone calls, emails, and in-person sample drop-offs/pickups. Some infrequent driving duties for sample transportation may be required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accountability, including the ability to acknowledge and learn from mistakes. A proactive mindset, adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude are critical to thriving in this role.

We are looking for someone who not only meets the qualifications of the position but is ultimately eager to learn, take initiative, contribute to a collaborative team environment, and support the ongoing growth and improvement of Apollo Labs. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or a willingness to quickly gain proficiency is expected.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Drivers License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Compliance experience (strongly preferred).
  • Intake, inventory control, or customer service experience (strongly preferred but not required).
  • Sterile technique experience (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, and Excel Macros (Strongly preferred; these skills will be given priority).
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and thrive in a team under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to contribute to team success and company growth.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory setting and following safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Potential to participate in sample analysis (state regulations require a minimum of a bachelor's degree in the sciences).
  • Applicants willing to work weekends and swing/second shift will be considered first.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $50,000.00 per year DOE

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Individuals willing to work second shift, nights, and/or weekends are strongly favored.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Degree in physical sciences (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel (Strongly Preferred)
  • Intake and Accessioning or Laboratory: 3 years (Strongly Preferred)
  • Experience in a regulated industry with detailed record keeping is preferred.
