Duties

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival, managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Provide attentive and friendly customer service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or specials, and offer personalized recommendations
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, host station, and service stations to ensure a welcoming environment
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members to deliver smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be a plus for understanding guest needs
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Knowledge of serving techniques and restaurant operations to enhance guest experiences
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
