Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Benefits & Compensation Lead to design, configure, and implement Oracle HCM modules. The role will work closely with HR, Payroll, Total Rewards, and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. This is a hands-on functional leadership role requiring strong Oracle Cloud HCM expertise, particularly in Benefits and Compensation, within complex, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Benefits and Compensation modules.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT to capture functional requirements and translate into scalable solutions.
- Manage testing activities including system testing, data migration validation, integration, and UAT.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and training guides.
- Train end-users and business stakeholders on system functionality and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and union agreements.
- Work on integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party systems.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Benefits & Compensation within Oracle HCM Cloud.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience, with focus on Benefits & Compensation.
- Proven leadership in configuration, deployment, and support of HCM modules.
- Strong understanding of unionized environments, including timekeeping complexities and rules.
- Experience in or supporting industries with union labor models (construction/field services preferred).
- Oracle Cloud HCM Certification strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database technologies including PL/SQL, schema design, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and third-party system connectivity.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience with Agile or other modern project delivery methodologies.
