Job Summary:

APX Industrial Coatings is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Liquid Painter to join our production team. This role is responsible for applying high-quality coatings to manufactured products, performing touch-ups, and ensuring equipment and work areas are properly maintained. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Apply liquid coatings onto manufactured products in accordance with work orders and specifications.
  • Perform touch-ups and rework on defective or incomplete painted surfaces.
  • Maintain painting equipment by cleaning nozzles, containers, hoses, and other components.
  • Mix, prepare, and adjust paints for various color and finish requirements.
  • Read, interpret, and follow work orders and work instructions accurately.
  • Conduct quality checks before, during, and after paint application to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous painting or coating experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and production orders.
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to work assigned 2nd shift schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $28.84 per hour
