About the Role

Q Analysts is seeking a QA Test Analyst II to join a high-impact project with one of our top-tier clients — a global leader in the Virtual Reality (VR) industry. In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team working at the intersection of software, computer vision, and robotics, helping to develop tools that support quality evaluation and regression testing of advanced tracking systems and algorithms.

You'll play a key role in validating the functionality, performance, and stability of current and future VR/AR products through manual testing across various platforms, including PC, Android-based mobile and standalone devices, and web applications.

Must-Have Experience

• Hands-on experience with manual functional testing
• Familiarity with testing on mobile (Android preferred), PC, and web applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional and regression test cases
• Maintain and update test cases for accuracy and relevance
• Review bug reports and assist in reproducing issues
• Investigate and document software and hardware bugs
• Validate bug fixes and confirm resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality

Required Skills

• Experience testing mobile, PC, and web platforms
• Familiarity with command-line tools
• Experience using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis
• Strong debugging and deductive reasoning abilities
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in QA or a related testing role
• Ability to work onsite full-time in either Burlingame or Santa Clara, CA
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check
• COVID-19 vaccination verification required prior to start

  $80,000 - $85,000.
