Contract - 12 weeks

Guaranteed Hours - 36 hr.

Pay rate - $34/hr. to $37/hr.

Shift - Day and Night

Location - Franklin, NH

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The LPN will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients, particularly those with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Assist with daily living activities for patients, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Participate in triage and emergency response as needed in acute care settings.
  • Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and geriatrics.
  • Assist in procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy, and wound care.

Requirements

  • Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic or other EMR systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform catheter care, tube feeding, venipuncture, and specimen collection/processing.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
