Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide expert speech therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on early intervention and patient-centered care. This role involves assessing communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting children's speech, language, and swallowing needs in a clinical setting. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through specialized therapy and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support patient development and ensure consistency of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home
  • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to patient care

Experience

  • Prior school experience working with children in pediatric or early intervention settings is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques for pediatric populations
  • Experience with patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech and language disorders
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to communication disorders
  • Familiarity with early intervention programs and protocols is advantageous
  • Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward children and their families

This position is ideal for licensed Speech Language Pathologists committed to improving children's communication abilities through expert assessment and therapy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 35 per week
