Starting Pay will be 25.00 per hour

Duties

  • Repair and restore vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
  • Perform auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment and buffing tools to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to remove damaged parts, install new panels, and perform finishing touches
  • Conduct auto glass replacements and repairs, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics
  • Apply detailing skills to clean, polish, and prepare vehicles for delivery or customer pickup
  • Assist with auto estimating by assessing damages accurately and providing detailed repair estimates
  • Collaborate with customers to explain repair procedures, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the process

Requirements

  • Proven automotive repair shop experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
  • Strong welding skills for frame repairs and metal fabrication tasks
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to support comprehensive repairs and restorations
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers and buffing machines
  • Experience in auto painting techniques including sanding, priming, painting, and finishing
  • Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and auto restoration projects
  • Ability to lift heavy vehicle parts safely during repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress and expectations
  • Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
