Position Summary

The Systems Engineer is a senior-level engineer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native platform services with an emphasis on AWS. This role involves deep hands-on engineering within AWS, automation development, API creation, and containerized workload orchestration.

The ideal candidate brings strong cloud engineering expertise, thrives in collaborative design environments, and can both deliver solutions and elevate others through knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support cloud-based platform services within AWS.
  • Develop APIs and automation workflows to enable scalable service delivery.
  • Build and maintain Lambda functions, Step Functions, and supporting serverless components.
  • Engineer and operate containerized workloads using EKS.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to modernize foundational platforms.
  • Support the Unified Development Platform and broader modernization initiatives.
  • Drive best practices for reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Contribute to reusable patterns, automation, and platform standards.
  • Act as a technology mentor/teacher within the engineering community.
