is proud to partner with a leader in the Automotive Industry who is accepting applications for a
Product Engineer (Calibration)
. This is a contractual opportunity (long term), hybrid onsite in
Dearborn, MI.

Hourly Pay Range $41 - $42/hr. (W2)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday onsite (Hybrid), 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week (Overtime may be required)

The ideal candidate can independently deliver production-ready calibrations that meet program, regulatory, safety, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deliver production-ready calibrations for drivability, emissions, and OBD on IC and hybrid powertrains.
  • Conduct in-vehicle and lab/test-cell testing, collect calibration data, analyze results, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Support testing at domestic proving grounds as needed.
  • Document calibration work, prepare reports, and present results and recommendations to program stakeholders.
  • Ensure all calibrations meet regulatory, performance, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or closely related field).
  • 2+ years (preferred 5+) direct, hands-on engine or hybrid calibration experience (drivability, emissions, or OBD).
  • Demonstrated delivery of drivability, OBD, or emissions calibrations into production.
  • Strong proficiency with calibration and data analysis tools (e.g., ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Proven experience with on-road and test-cell calibration work (not limited to simulation or HIL).
  • Solid skills in data acquisition and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of calibration experience across multiple programs or platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Powertrain, Controls, OBD, Emissions, Vehicle Integration).
