Job Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing and brand initiatives of Hotel Clio, a Luxury Collection Hotel, located in the heart of Denver's Cherry Creek North district. This position serves as a key liaison between the hotel team, PRIM Public Relations & Social Media Agency, and Marriott Luxury Collection Brand Marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling, consistent voice, and alignment with global brand standards.

This role assists in driving awareness and engagement across owned, earned, and paid channels, creating on-brand content, coordinating social and digital campaigns, and helping bring to life the hotel's luxury positioning through visual, written, and experiential storytelling.

Responsibilities
  • Social Media & Content Creation
    • Partner with PRIM Agency to develop and execute social media content calendars, visual storytelling, and campaigns across Instagram & Facebook.
    • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and elevate brand storytelling through authentic, elevated tone consistent with Luxury Collection standards.
  • Brand & Public Relations Alignment
    • Collaborate closely with PRIM on influencer partnerships, media visits, press releases, and campaign storytelling.
    • Ensure messaging aligns with Marriott Luxury Collection brand pillars, including Destination Discovery, Epicurean Moments, and Luxury, Unscripted experiences.
    • Assist in coordinating photo/video shoots and on-property brand activations.
  • Website & Digital Content Management
    • Update and maintain the hotel's website, pages, and microsites with accurate and SEO-optimized content.
    • Support campaign landing pages and paid media initiatives through coordination with agency partners.
  • Marketing Operations & Collateral
    • Manage event and activation calendars for the hotel and Cherry Creek North neighborhood.
    • Support e-blast creation, on-property signage, and printed collateral while maintaining brand standards.
    • Track performance of campaigns and social content through analytics dashboards (PRIM, VERB and Marriott systems).

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain relationships with community partners (e.g., Cherry Creek North BID, Denver Botanic Gardens, Saks Fifth Avenue Club).
  • Participate in creative brainstorming to identify new guest experiences and storytelling opportunities.
  • Support internal communication of marketing efforts to the hotel team.
  • Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum one year in marketing, PR, social media, or hospitality experience preferred. Experience with luxury or lifestyle brands a plus.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic level of copy writing skills and experience.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Microsoft Office Applications – All. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital media and social trends
  • Self-starter with above average planning and organizational skills.
  • Creative team player with good people skills

  • Requires sitting most of the time, but does entail walking, standing and carrying of up to 15 pounds short distances.
  • Requires a significant amount of repetitive motion for typing on a keyboard
