The Minecraft Social, Influencer & Innovation team is seeking a full-time Head of Affiliate Marketing to launch and lead Mojang Studios' first-ever affiliate program. Based in Redmond, WA and part of the Mojang Studios Marketing team, this role will shape the strategy and execution of affiliate partnerships that grow revenue and strengthen brand impact. The Head of Affiliate Marketing will collaborate across teams, work directly with platforms and creators, and expand our grassroots initiatives to reach players worldwide. We're looking for a leader who can combine high-level vision with hands-on execution to build and scale a best-in-class program.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing setting strategy and driving implementation for affiliate programs.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating directly with influencers, engaging with a diverse range of audiences from grassroots to celebrities or similar groups.
- Experience working with executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years in Affiliate Marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years in Affiliate Marketing OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Minecraft; and understanding of the Minecraft community and franchise.
- Experience working with global brands and practical experience creating both global and regional strategies.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
Design & Strategy:
- Define the vision, priorities, and success metrics for Mojang Studios' affiliate program, aligning to revenue and brand growth goals.
- Design program structure, including incentive models, content eligibility, campaign types, and seasonal activations.
Partner Management:
- Establish and manage partner selection criteria, onboarding processes, and governance standards for affiliates and creators.
- Manage direct relationships with high-value partners and platforms, developing co-marketing opportunities and tie-ins.
Campaign Management:
- Provide brand-safe creative assets, messaging guidance, and compliance rules to ensure alignment with Minecraft's voice and values.
- Lead campaign activation by setting timing, focus, and incentives, while driving collaboration with marketing, product, and commerce teams.
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, building a sustainable "always-on" affiliate program that delivers measurable business impact.
- Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of Minecraft's grassroots creator program, scaling participation and strengthening community ties.
Operational Management:
- Monitor performance, analyze results, and optimize campaigns using data-driven insights to scale what works.
- Oversee integration of tracking systems, tools, and workflows to enable measurement, automation, and long-term scalability.
- Ensure financial stewardship by modeling payouts, negotiating terms, and enforcing compliance with Microsoft policies.
