Position Overview:

Our Customer Service Team is primarily responsible for keeping the play space clean and organized, and engaging with customers to address their needs. This is an incredibly vital role -- more than anything else that we do, our customers love us for keeping things clean and organized, as they're often drained from having to do so at home. They will express that appreciation towards you verbally and financially through tips

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm and check them into our systems.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment for families.
• Engage with both children and parents to build relationships and ensure a memorable experience.
• Handle any issues or concerns with professionalism and a calm demeanor.

Space Maintenance/Deep cleaning:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized play space throughout the day.
• Perform cleaning tasks throughout the day (sweeping, wiping down surfaces, etc.).
• Take ownership of the deeper cleaning at closing time, including mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and dusting.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with Lead Teacher to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our guests.
• Share ideas and constructive feedback to improve operations and the overall customer experience.

Activity Support:

• Assist with facilitation of crafts, sensory play, imaginative activities, and other scheduled programs.
• Help organize and assist with special events, classes, and activities to keep things fun and engaging for all ages.

Flexibility & Adaptability:

• Be flexible and ready to take on various tasks as needed.
• Stay adaptable and positively contribute to the dynamic environment at Munchkin Town.

• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Be able to handle some situations that may be uncomfortable when certain situations arise.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, remain productive without direct supervision, and take initiative in maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Must be able to move quickly and stay on your feet during busy periods while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude.
• Love for kids and a willingness to interact and engage with them regularly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing for long periods, bending, squatting, etc.).
• Must be able to work weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

• In terms of scheduling, we are open for play Monday through Friday, with each day typically including a morning shift (9am-2pm) and an afternoon shift (2pm-7:30pm), and Saturdays from 9am-3pm. We also host birthday parties from 3-7pm on Saturdays and 10am-6pm on Sundays. Which days/shifts are you available to work? (Must be able to work weekends)
