Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Stylist - Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 34th & Fifth. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, showcasing products through effective merchandising, and driving sales through upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales
  • Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor through effective stocking and merchandising practices
  • Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Employ retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management
  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team setting
