Private Equity Senior Analyst 

About the Role

The Senior Analyst will join a private investment firm, in their Cleveland office. This firm focuses on middle market, acquiring businesses in the niche manufacturing and related sector. For more information about this firm, please apply to this job. 

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will support senior investment professionals with specific responsibilities including:

Support the investment underwriting and due diligence process (e.g., modeling, memos, data room management, industry research)Run extensive analytical analysis on financial, customer, product, market information, etc. to clearly articulate trends within businessesSupport investor relations with preparation of quarterly and annual materials, including individual asset updates, fund level performance analysis, and annual presentationsCompile market research on new investments and provide a deliverable accurately summarizing the state of the industryProvide portfolio management support for existing investments including budgeting expected performance, evaluating actual performance, and implementing portfolio management processes including continuous improvement

Professional Experience & Qualifications


Proactive with an exceptional work ethic and a background reflecting a high level of achievement1+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, lending, consulting, or other relevant M&A experienceBachelor's degree or greaterKnowledge of basic accounting concepts and financial modeling techniquesAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to use pivot tables, generate charts, and appropriately summarize dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to cultivate and maintain strong (in-person and virtual) relationshipsAbility to work in dynamic and entrepreneurial environments, which includes ambiguity and changing prioritiesExcited about working and living in Cleveland, Ohio 

Salary

Salary is competitive, depending on experience.
