What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.
- Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and potential security-related incidents through visible presence and patrols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal policies.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure environment within the government location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Armed Guard Card or License required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
