Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part time weekend Barista to join our team in creating exceptional Boba tea experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, food handling, and drink preparation… no experience needed though.

ACCEPTING WALK-IN INTERVIEWS THROUGHOUT THE WORK WEEK (Monday-Friday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a range of beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
  • Operate the Clover POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during food preparation and handling.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of syrups, milk, and other supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions.

Requirements

  • Age requirement 18+
  • Previous barista experience or strong knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices related to food preparation and serving.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
