What you'll do

  • Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively, including an ohmmeter.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with tractor electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance.
