This firm is made up of the partners Shawn Lautz, Klaus Mueller and Steve Osburn, we have 60 plus years of experience in Criminal Law. All of the partners have worked with the Sedgwick County Public Defender as well as in private practice representing clients throughout the State of Kansas. In 2015 we were granted a contract by the City of Wichita to represent clients in the City of Wichita Municipal Court. Our firm takes a team approach in representing our clients in courtrooms on a daily basis. This is a fast-paced environment, but it is not stressful.

Representation will include trial, plea negotiations, hearings, probation violations and jail visits. Attorney to provide defense perspective at staff meetings and protect the rights of clients in those courts. Municipal Court has a high volume of cases and therefore candidate's must be able to multi-task and issue a spot on decision in a fast- paced environment. Attorney will be assigned to the Drug Court Team and Mental Health Court Team to provide defense throughout. This is a Full-Time position. Attorneys take a team approach to cases. The successful candidate will familiarize themselves with the Best Practice standards for treatment courts set out by the National Association of Drug Court professionals. Municipal court has a high volume of cases and therefore candidates must be able to multi-task and issue spot in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
