Job Description & Responsibilities:

· Safely load and unload bulk liquid products from trucks and rail tank cars at our bulk liquid storage terminal in Hamtramck, MI.

· Handle hoses and related equipment, requiring the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or drag up to 50 lbs.

· Assist with daily operations including the transfer, storage, and management of bulk liquid de-icing and petroleum products in the form of drums, totes, and tanker trailers.

· Climb bulk liquid storage tanks up to a height of 35 feet to inspect inventory as needed.

· Carry out routine maintenance and general tidiness duties on essential terminal assets including tanks, pipelines, valves, pumps, and other equipment as needed.

· Carefully and accurately perform tank gauging and inventory counts.

· Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Be available to work shifts extending up to 12-hours, with occasional weekends during the winter busy season.

· Follow instructions and procedures from supervisors and perform all tasks in a safe and conscientious manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Personal attributes including common sense, and the ability to ask questions and avoid assumptions is highly valued.

· Hilo experience a plus

· Basic computer proficiency, organizational, and paperwork skills are a plus.

· Requires passing a pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.

· Able to understand, work with, and adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.

· Full time with overtime after 40 hour week. Compensation in line with experience and includes benefits of 401K, medical, short and long term disability, life insurance, sick days, paid vacations and bonus.

· High School Graduate or GED required.

Job Type: Full-time
