Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative specializing in fire sprinkler and extinguisher inspection, testing, and maintenance agreements, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our company's services to potential clients. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring the growth of our client base within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and research potential clients in your assigned territory.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage inbound leads.

Meet with potential clients to understand their fire safety needs.
Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate existing fire sprinkler and extinguisher systems.
Provide expert guidance on compliance with local fire safety regulations.

Prepare comprehensive proposals outlining service agreements tailored to each client's specific requirements.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposals meet industry standards and regulations.
4.
Engage in negotiations with clients, addressing their concerns and objections.
Close deals by obtaining signed contracts and purchase orders.
5.
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Keep clients informed about scheduled inspections, testing, and maintenance services.
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activities using CRM software.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends for management.

Stay up-to-date with local and national fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
Ensure all services provided are in compliance with relevant standards.

Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of service agreements.
Provide feedback on customer requirements and market trends to improve services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in fire protection, construction, or related industries.
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, NFPA codes, and local fire regulations is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NICET certification in fire sprinkler systems.
- Experience working with general contractors and project managers.
- Technical background or education in fire protection, engineering, or construction.
Additional Information:
This position may require occasional evening and weekend work, as well as travel to client sites.
Sales targets and performance metrics will be established and monitored regularly.
