POSITION: OB/GYN Physician
RESPONSIBITILIES: Under the direction of the CMO/Medical Director, supervise and administer the clinical services in the primary health care clinics and perform OB/GYN services. The OB/GYN Physician will examine, perform diagnosis, and treat patients who come to the clinic for Women's Health. Determines the necessity for referral and refers women requiring special diagnostic procedures and treatments to appropriate sources; discuss findings with other providers; supervise the work of the professional staff; maintain clinic records. Responsible for all OB/GYN services provided at the clinics.
OB/GYN Physician provides prenatal care and treats GYN problems in a given population; advise and counsel patients. Considers individual, cultural, psychological, social, and environmental factors, and coordinates patient services to promote continuous comprehensive care. Collaborates and consults closely with other physicians.
OB/GYN Physician participates in QA, Peer Review, and maintains confidentiality. OB/GYN Physician participates in QI, chart audits, and process improvement programs.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of the Board-Certified principles and practices of modern medicine including preventive medicine. Mature judgment, tact, discretion, and confidentiality are mandatory. Position requires a professional, pleasant, and effective representation of the corporation. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California driver's license. Must submit to and pass a drug test, criminal background clearance, and credentialing clearance as a pre-condition for employment. Must provide proof of vaccinations for COVID-19 with Booster, MMR, TDAP, and Hepatitis B. Must provide proof of recent TB test. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid Physician's and Surgeon's Licenses issued by the State of California, OB/GYN Physician B/C or B/E.
